Our verdict

The CB 150F shares its 149.2cc SOHC balancer engine layout with the CG 150 but wraps it in sportier bodywork, a bigger 13-litre tank and a wider 80/100-18 front tyre. It costs Rs 40,000 more than the CG 150 and Atlas Honda does not publish its power. Buy it for the style, range and comfort; buyers focused on value will find the CG 150 does nearly the same job for less.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Front disc brake and alloy wheels
  • Large 13-litre tank for long range
  • Smooth SOHC engine with balancer
  • LED headlight, fuel gauge, gear indicator and trip meter since June 2025
  • 168 mm ground clearance

What we don’t

  • Rs 40,000 more than the CG 150
  • Atlas Honda does not publish power or torque
  • Heavy at 124 kg dry
  • Fuel economy closer to 35 km/l than 125-class figures (PakWheels)

Engine and performance

Atlas Honda lists a 149.2cc SOHC air-cooled engine with a balancer, 57.3 x 57.8 mm bore and stroke, 9.1:1 compression and 5 gears, the same figures it lists for the CG 150. It does not publish the CB 150F's power or torque, and PakWheels' figures could not be confirmed, so we compare it as broadly CG 150-class performance.

The balancer keeps it smooth at highway speeds, and it is comfortable cruising two-up.

Comfort and handling

It is 2,051 mm long with a 1,311 mm wheelbase, 766 mm seat and 168 mm ground clearance. The front tyre is a wider 80/100-18, and suspension travel is 107 mm front and 91 mm rear. At 124 kg dry it feels solid on the highway but is heavier to push around in parking.

Braking is front disc and rear drum.

Fuel economy and running costs

No official figure. PakWheels lists about 35 km/l. The 13-litre tank (1.4 litres reserve) gives the longest range among Honda's line-up. Expect 150-class running costs: more fuel than a 125 and pricier model-specific body parts.

Features

The June 2025 refresh added an LED headlight, a fuel gauge, gear position indicator and trip meter, and a shutter-lock ignition, per ProPakistani. Colours are Red, Black, Blue and Silver, with Blue and Silver Rs 4,000 dearer. Commentators noted it was largely a cosmetic update.

Running costs in rupees

PakWheels lists about 35 km/l, so 1,000 km uses roughly 28.6 litres, about Rs 11,200 at Rs 391.30 per litre. A 125 at 45 km/l would use about Rs 8,700 for the same distance.

Atlas Honda's oil and service guidance for its 150s (published for the CG150) calls for 10W-30 JASO MA2 oil, 1.0 litre per change, first at 1,000 km and then every 4,000 km. Check the CB 150F owner's manual for its exact schedule. Keep the service book stamped, as Atlas Honda's engine warranty depends on authorised servicing and genuine oil.

Resale and who should buy it

Resale is reasonable for a Honda 150, but the market at Rs 5 lakh is smaller and buyers compare it with the newer CG 150. Buy the CB 150F if you like its sporty look, want the biggest tank and do a lot of highway riding. If you just want a capable Honda 150, the CG 150 saves Rs 40,000 and has more ground clearance and published power figures.
