Our verdict

The CD 70 is Rs 159,900 on Atlas Honda's site. Super Power shows no prices; PakWheels lists the SP 70 at Rs 116,500. Super Power quotes a 78cc engine making 7.0 PS and an 82 kg dry weight, the same weight as the CD 70.

Super Power claims 70 km/l, which is not a tested figure; PakWheels lists 47 km/l against 55 km/l for the CD 70. Honda's parts network and resale are far stronger.

Unless a trusted local Super Power dealer gives you an excellent deal, the CD 70 is the safer purchase.

Our pick

Honda CD 70

Official pricing, better listed economy and far stronger resale make it the safer buy.

Specs side by side

A value is marked only where better is clear-cut — a lower price, more cc, a bigger tank, more claimed km/l, more ground clearance, a higher rating, disc over drum, self start over kick — and only when the gap is big enough for a rider to notice. Differences too small to feel, like a cc or two or a tenth of a rating point, are left unmarked. “—” means the figure is not published.
