Our verdict

United lists the same 56.5 x 49.5 mm bore and stroke as the CG 125, with 4 gears, kick start, a 9-litre tank and 94.5 kg dry weight. The CG 125 has a 9.2-litre tank and weighs 100 kg. The US 125's price after United's April 2026 increase works out to about Rs 171,500 against Rs 238,500 for the Honda.

The Honda's advantage is in build quality reports, genuine parts and resale, which is the strongest of any 125 in Pakistan.

If you will keep the bike for many years and need the lowest upfront cost, the US 125 works. For most buyers the CG 125's resale value narrows the real cost gap considerably.

Our pick

Honda CG 125

Its resale value and durability usually make up much of the price difference.

Specs side by side

A value is marked only where better is clear-cut — a lower price, more cc, a bigger tank, more claimed km/l, more ground clearance, a higher rating, disc over drum, self start over kick — and only when the gap is big enough for a rider to notice. Differences too small to feel, like a cc or two or a tenth of a rating point, are left unmarked. “—” means the figure is not published.
