Honda Pridor Price in Pakistan, Specs, Fuel Tank & Review

3.0/5

Best for: Taller riders who want more comfort than a CD 70

The Pridor is a bigger, roomier Honda commuter with a 97cc engine and 18-inch wheels, sitting between the CD 70 and the CG 125 in price.

Our verdict

At Rs 211,900 the Pridor costs Rs 52,000 more than a CD 70 and only Rs 26,600 less than a CG 125. It rides more comfortably than the 70, with 18-inch wheels, more ground clearance and a taller seat, but it is still kick-start with drum brakes. It suits tall riders and pillion-heavy commutes; many buyers at this budget stretch to the CG 125 instead, which also resells better.

Pros and cons

What we like

  • Roomier than a CD 70, with a 798 mm seat and longer wheelbase
  • 18-inch wheels and 156 mm ground clearance handle bad roads better
  • 97cc engine copes better with a pillion than a 70
  • Honda reliability and genuine parts

What we don’t

  • Close in price to the CG 125, which is faster and resells better
  • Kick start and drum brakes only
  • Smaller used market than the CD 70 or CG 125
  • No published power or fuel figures from Atlas Honda

Engine and performance

The Pridor's 97.1cc OHC engine sits between the CD 70 and the CG 125. Atlas Honda does not publish power; PakWheels lists 7.5 hp, which we have not been able to confirm. On the road it is noticeably happier than a 70 with a passenger and on flyovers, but it is still a commuter, not a highway bike.

It uses a normal 4-speed gearbox with a roller chain, and starting is kick only.

Comfort and handling

Comfort is the Pridor's main argument. It is longer (1,986 mm), sits on 2.75-18 tyres front and rear, has 156 mm of ground clearance and a 798 mm seat, the tallest of Honda's commuters. Taller riders fit better than on a CD 70, and the bigger wheels deal with potholes more calmly.

At 96 kg dry it is heavier than the 82 kg CD 70 but still easy to manage. Brakes are drums at both ends.

Fuel economy and running costs

Atlas Honda publishes no fuel average. PakWheels lists about 45 km/l, which would mean about 22 litres per 1,000 km. Servicing is simple and Honda's dealer network is the widest in the country, though some Pridor-specific body and chassis parts are less common in small-town shops than CD 70 or CG 125 parts.

Features

Equipment is basic: kick start, drum brakes, spoke wheels and halogen lighting. The 2025 and 2026 model updates were mostly graphics. Do not buy it expecting more than a CD 70 in terms of gadgets.

Price and value

The Pridor sits in an awkward price gap. It is Rs 52,000 more than the CD 70 and Rs 26,600 less than the CG 125, so many buyers end up stretching to the CG 125 for its extra power and resale.

Where it does make sense is for riders who want Honda reliability and more room than a 70, but do not need 125cc power. Its 9.7-litre tank (1.5 litres reserve) also gives slightly more range than the CG 125's 9.2 litres. Keep the stamped service book; it helps both warranty claims and resale.

Resale and who should buy it

Resale is decent because it is a Honda, but the Pridor has a smaller used market than the CD 70 and CG 125, so it can take longer to sell. Buy it if you are tall, ride two-up a lot or live on rough roads and want Honda reliability without paying CG 125 money. If you can stretch by about Rs 26,600, the CG 125 is the stronger all-rounder.
