Vector VT-254 Prime Modular Helmet

The Prime is the step-up VT-254 flip-up: the DOT-rated ABS shell carries a chin bar on a hinge, so you lift it at a signal, a petrol pump or a toll booth and lock it closed for the road, plus an internal smoked sun visor you drop for the afternoon glare on the motorway and raise in the tunnel. It comes in four graphics at the same price: Blue / Fluorescent Yellow, matte black with cobalt blue and fluorescent yellow panels and a rainbow iridium visor; Hunter (Vector's own name, printed on the back), matte black with charcoal grey slashes, a fluorescent orange rear spoiler and crown fins, orange tick stripes and a blue iridium visor that flashes orange; and Sonic (Vector's "254 Prime Sonic Matt"), a matte sand shell with a petrol-blue chin bar and visor frame, brown lower panels and a gold iridium visor; and Matte Grey / Fluorescent Red, matte grey and black with fluorescent red-orange chin and rear panels, a red-orange rear spoiler and a rainbow iridium visor. Whichever you pick, you are seen at dusk and in traffic. It has the clear anti-scratch outer visor, chin and top vents, a double-D ring strap and a removable washable liner. Sizes M to XXL.
